
CAD Exchanger has announced the release of its 3.20.0 software suite, which allows 3D CAD data to be viewed, converted and analyzed across multiple platforms.
Key features include:
- A technology preview of the BIM Viewer mode, which provides access to additional information about BIM entities such as walls and windows.
- Updated format listing for data models. There are four formats here: CDX, CDXBIM, CDXWEB and CDXBIMWEB, which can be used on desktops and in the Web Toolkit.
- New examples of complex viewers in the Web Toolkit that demonstrate the visualization of corresponding data types.
- Improved rendering performance for B-rep representations, making the workflow smoother and more productive.
- Support for arm64 architecture on macOS, enabling compatibility with Apple M1 and M2 series CPUs.
- Numerous improvements and fixes to BIM and MCAD formats.
