Creabis GmbH automates parts of its AM process with two AM-Flow modules

Creabis GmbH, an experienced additive manufacturing provider near Munich, Germany, invested in two integrated modules – AM-VISION and AM-SORT, both supported by the AM-LOGIC software suite – to automate its workflow after 3D printing parts. After an initial testing phase, the AM-Flow system is now fully operational and can process thousands of parts daily.

AM-VISION enables rapid automatic identification of 3D-printed parts. The associated AM-SORT, designed to sort parts quickly and accurately, uses patented flippers specifically designed for the wide variety of 3D printed parts to ensure that identified models are routed to the correct next process step. The AM-LOGIC software suite guarantees the seamless integration of all AM-Flow modules into the existing factory IT architecture and enables access to the entire digital backbone at any time via stationary or mobile operator consoles.

With these modules, Creabis will not only save costs, time and workflow efficiency, but will also be able to track each model in its production process (Track &Trace), which is the basis for 100% control of the 3D printing process.

Ralf Deuke, Managing Director of Creabis GmbH: “As a company, we focus on the perfect fulfillment of customer requirements. This is only possible when we invest in cutting-edge technology such as vision technology, AI and automated sorting of AM flow, which helps our team deliver the perfect part from start to finish.”

Marion Timmermans, Sales Director AM-Flow said, “We are excited to support Creabis in their next step towards creating a fully digital additive manufacturing workflow. Our end-to-end AM workflow solution will help them reduce lead times and increase production without additional manual work.”
