Divide By Zero launches Aion500 MK2 with “Auto-Switchover” function

The Indian 3D printer manufacturer Divide By Zero has relaunched its Aion500 MK2 device. It has integrated “auto-switchover” technology for uninterrupted 3D printing of large components.

With this new feature, Divide By Zero promises an improvement in large-format industrial printing. The Aion500 MK2 is now able to switch to a new filament roll completely automatically as soon as the current one runs out. This means that projects weighing up to 10 kg can be printed for hours without interruption or manual intervention.

The seamless continuation of the printing process during material changes results in significant increases in efficiency. Production downtime and material waste due to misprints can be avoided. Industrial companies can now tackle even challenging large-scale projects with increased productivity and process reliability.

Since its initial market launch in 2016, Divide By Zero has continuously adapted the Aion500 platform to customer requirements. The new MK2 version with auto-switchover technology marks another milestone in this development.
