UK-based E3D Online is probably best known for its durable all-metal hot ends. They have now released the Titan, a lightweight, powerful and easy-to-use 3D printer extruder.
Before starting to design the new Extruder, the E3D team dedicated a lot of time to find out what exactly they wanted in a next-generation extruder, such as a filament pushing performance of a geared Greg-Wades extruder, the size and weight of small direct-drive type extruders, compatibility with as many machines as possible, high peak speeds fro snappy retractions and fast printing with Volcano systems, easy usability, compatibility with a lot of materials – all this at a reasonable price.
