Turkish equipment manufacturer Ermaksan will present a new metal 3D printer at Formnext 2023. According to the manufacturer, the ENAVISION 120 scores with a compact design and is said to be ideal for applications in laboratories and offices.
The 3D printer uses the laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF) process. Ermaksan specifies a build envelope of 120 mm in diameter and 80 mm in height. Thanks to servo-motor technology, precise and efficient production is said to be possible.
According to Ermaksan Additive, a subsidiary of Ermaksan, the ENAVISION 120 was developed specifically for universities, laboratories and medical and dental technology. The compact design is optimally tailored to these areas of application, he said.
By adjusting the process parameters, the 3D printer can be flexibly adapted to different metal powders and applications. According to the manufacturer, component densities of over 99 percent can be achieved with excellent mechanical properties.
As a pioneer of metal 3D printing technology in Turkey, Ermaksan Additive wants to demonstrate its innovative strength with the new printer.
