Chinese 3D printer manufacturer Flashforge has unveiled a new desktop 3D printer, the Adventurer 5M Pro. According to the company, the 3D printer will be available in September.
According to Flashforge, the Adventurer 5M Pro focuses on high printing speeds of up to 600 mm/s and a dual air filtration system. The latter is supposed to ensure safe printing with HEPA and activated carbon filters.
For ease of setup, an automatic leveling of the print platform is provided. A Flexsteel print bed and an integrated camera are further features of the 3D printer, which costs around $600. In addition, the Adventurer 5M Pro has smart features such as real-time monitoring through an integrated camera and automatic shutdown after printing.
According to Flashforge, the Adventurer 5M Pro is aimed at entry-level users, educational institutions and families. Quiet operation and enclosed design make it suitable for these environments. The high print speed is also said to increase productivity.
