Github User Releases Files to 3D Print TSA Master Luggage Keys

Based on a photo published by Washington Post, a Github user has created STL files of the TSA’s master luggage keys and published them for anyone to download and 3D print a replica to use.

The photo, although rather quickly being taken off again, was used to create CAD files of the seven master keys. The keys are used by the US Transport Security Administration to unlock luggage for inspection. TSA locks are both available separately but also integrated in millions of suitcases, that can now be opened by anyone having access to a 3D printer.

Canadian Bernard Bolduc, who has actually printed one of the keys and tested it on his lock, posted a video on his Twitter account.
