IN-VISION presents Gantry System for almost Unlimited Size in Polymer 3D Printing

IN-VISION is pushing the boundaries of 3D printing with its new gantry system capable of handling virtually unlimited building sizes. It uses a high-precision gantry design and up to four powerful HELIOS X Light Engines that pan across the image plane. The basic system offers two projectors and a width of 415 mm, but can be extended to nearly one meter.

Precise control of the moving multi-head systems across the building plane is achieved using sensory compensation. The use of the world’s most powerful projectors, Helios X, enables dynamic curing while moving across the building surface.

“No, we are not about to start building printers on our own; this is a job we are happy to leave to our customers”, explains Christof Hieger, CTO of the Austrian Optics Specialist IN-VISION, with a smile, “but we love to share our know-how with them and provide them with almost turnkey solutions for their projects.”

The gantry system is suitable for applications such as 3D printing, lithography and screen printing.

“We give every developer a compelling infrastructure offering almost unlimited possibilities”, explains Christof Hieger, In-Vision´s CTO. “The onboard system is the next step in merging our superior optical accuracy with powerful software options.”
