The SLA 3D printer from Autodesk got a huge upgrade in speed at this years REAL show with up to 24-times faster printing speeds. Now the engineers made a Instructable to show you how to get a speed boost for your DLP SLA 3D Printer.
The Instructable was especially written for the Autodesk Ember but the author sets “the techniques that we describe here apply to the whole class of DLP SLA printers and can be replicated on many different systems”. So you can speed up the printing speed for your DLP based 3D Printer too.
The engineers designed a material which can be used to cure thicker layers at once. The can cure layers up to 250µm, eliminated the separation step between every layer and so get up to speeds of 440mm per hour.
If you want to make your printer faster you should check out the Instructable (in our VIA section).
