Loopa is a microphone which can be used as a regular microphone or it can be used to loop your voice to get some amazing examples.
To develop this phenomenal device, sonuus, the company behind Loopa, used 3D printing extensively. The first prototypes where printed in simple ABS using FDM 3D printers. This enabled the team to make fast changes to the form and to archive the best internal design for the microphone.
With the use of FDM 3D printed prototypes the development of the microphone housing could be archived in just two months. After the final design was found, the company decided to build working prototypes using SLS 3D printing. With the SLS printed parts the microphone was sent out to testing.
