3D printer manufacturer Modix has unveiled its new extra-high Everest 3D printer. With a print height of up to two meters, this machine opens up completely new possibilities in 3D printing. The print volume of the Everest’s large-capacity printer is 1000 x 1000 x 2000 mm (XYZ).
Thanks to the powerful Griffin Ultra extruder, the Everest achieves print speeds of over 500 grams per hour. The Everest is based on the components of the BIG-Meter printer from Modix, such as the gantry system, electronics and heating. According to the manufacturer, a reinforced frame ensures stability and precision, even without an enclosure. Optional add-ons such as an enclosure, heated bed and dual extruder increase versatility and performance.
The manufacturer is currently organizing a pre-order campaign for the Modix Everest. The standard version of the 3D printer costs 25,000 US dollars. Delivery is expected to take place at the end of July.
