Phasio receives $2.5 million for software to promote local manufacturing

The company Phasio has raised $2.5 million in a financing round to further develop its software for the manufacturing industry. The software is intended to strengthen local production and suppliers.

Phasio is a digital interface for manufacturers and customers. According to the company, the software simplifies typical manufacturing workflows – from quoting to design collaboration to order management. Unlike other solutions, Phasio covers the entire end-to-end process, it said.

Core features include, for example, a 3D view of the part on the manufacturer’s website, where the customer and supplier can make changes together. An AI agent based on GPT will also be able to answer customer questions automatically.

According to Phasio, the software enables more efficient and personalized collaboration with customers. This would allow local suppliers to remain competitive, even with small batch sizes, and strengthen local manufacturing. The long-term goal, he said, is to establish the software as the global standard for communication between manufacturing companies and customers.

The $2.5 million was provided by investors including Airtree Ventures and 500 Global. Phasio plans to use the capital to grow its development team and further expand the software.
