Przemysław Krzemieniecki steps down as Vice President of Zortrax

The Polish 3D printer manufacturer Zortrax has announced that Przemysław Krzemieniecki – Vice President of the company – has resigned from this position and from his seat on the Board of Directors. Zortrax has not given any reasons for the resignation.

Krzemieniecki, a law graduate of the University of Warsaw and the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, has been a member of the Warsaw Bar Association since 2013 and Vice-Chairman of the Business and Commercial Law Section of the District Bar Council in Warsaw. He has been associated with Zortrax since April 2018, initially as a member of the Supervisory Board and from January 2020 to May 2023 as its Chairman. In May last year, he assumed the position of Vice President, from which he has now stepped down.

The news of Krzemieniecki’s resignation comes after Zortrax announced on November 17, 2023 that it had concluded an investment agreement with stock market investor Artur Błasik. As part of this agreement, two further members recommended by Błasik were to be added to the Management Board, consisting of Mariusz Babula and Przemysław Krzemieniecki. An expansion of the Supervisory Board was also planned. The formal matters were to be resolved at an extraordinary general meeting of the company, which is to take place on January 31, 2024 at the latest. It is therefore possible that Krzemieniecki’s resignation is related to these reorganizations.

The current shareholders of Zortrax include:

  • Artur Błasik with 20.36% of the shares,
  • Nebbula-Theron Sp. z o. o. sp.j. with 18.76%,
  • Mariusz Babula with 10.71%,
  • and other shareholders with 50.17%.
