Qidi Q1 Pro: New powerful and affordable 3D printer from Qidi Tech

The Chinese 3D printer manufacturer Qidi Tech has introduced a new powerful and affordable 3D printer with Qidi Tech Q1 Pro. The device offers a plethora of automated features, which significantly ease operation and enable consistently high print quality.

The 3D printer features fully automatic calibration at the start of printing. Users no longer need to manually level the print bed or adjust the nozzle distance – the printer does this autonomously. Two independent Z-axis motors and dual-sensor leveling ensure the highest precision.

The standard heated print chamber, with temperatures up to 60°C, reduces warping and improves layer adhesion. This particularly benefits print quality with materials prone to warping, such as ABS, PA, or PC. The powerful extruder allows nozzle temperatures up to 350°C and the processing of high-temperature filaments like PAHT-CF or PET-CF. This enables the production of parts with better mechanical properties.

Thanks to the extensive automations, the Q1 Pro is practically ready to use immediately. The included QIDI Mobile App also allows for convenient remote control and monitoring of the printing process via a 1080p camera. The build volume is 245x245x245 mm, and the print speed can reach up to 600mm/s.

The lightweight Core-XY system, in combination with TMC2240 motor drivers, allows for high accelerations while maintaining low vibrations. A robust full-metal housing and 64-bit processors with large memory complete the technical package.
