Roboze introduces large format 3D printer with “Hypermelt” technology

The company Roboze will present a new 3D printer for large-format printing at the Formnext trade fair. The technology, known as “Hypermelt,” is said to enable up to ten times the printing speed of conventional filament processes.

According to Roboze, the printer uses Argon 1000 instead of filament granules as the starting material. This means that large components made of high-performance polymers such as PEKK or PEEK can also be produced.

According to the manufacturer, the Argon 1000 achieves a size of 1000 x 1000 x 1000 mm. The heated pressure chamber allows temperatures up to 180°C for high component quality. The developers see hypermelt technology as a milestone for 3D printing on an industrial scale.
