WEBER additive presents new large-format 3D printer DX series at Formnext 2023

German equipment manufacturer WEBER has unveiled the next generation of its DX series of large-format 3D printers. According to the press release, the DX series combines maximum precision with a compact design thanks to a three-axis gantry system.

The printer has a 2.5 cubic meter build volume and a high-precision axis system. The extruder used is a heatable type from WEBER’s AE series specially developed for 3D printing. The table system can be heated up to 280°C and the AE system up to 450°C. A vacuum printing table ensures reliable hold of the components and process stability.

According to WEBER, the versatile DX series is suitable for prototyping, toolmaking, design objects, trade fair construction and much more. It can be optimally adapted to customer requirements through individual configuration. As a machine manufacturer, WEBER can draw on decades of expertise in extrusion and CNC technology.

According to the company, the new DX series sets a new standard in large-format 3D printing with its combination of compact design, large installation space and high-precision 3-axis gantry guidance. Interested parties can view the solution at the Formnext trade fair in Frankfurt.
