Mat Sutor wanted to produce a flash diffuser for photography for a long time. He contacted many Chinese manufacturers for prototypes but was never satisfied.
The Wyng should consist of just one piece of flexible, lightweight plastic and should let some light trough. After a while he discovered 3D printing technology. Now, The Wyng can be produced directly in the US without the hustle to manage a manufacturer overseas.
In my research to find a way to produce The Wyng, I discovered that 3D printing would be the ultimate solution to make the Wyng and keep everything at home here in the USA.
Thy Wyng is produced out of tough and flexible TPE filament.
