Mixed Dimensions, or MXD3D, just closed their most recent founding round with 4,3$ millions of investments.
Mixed Dimensions is the company behind the powerful plugin MakePrintable for Sketchup and Blender. This plugin allows you to easily make your 3D design 3D printable. The features of MakePrintable include functions to make your designs solid and watertight, reduce weight by hollowing objects, to combine intersecting objects, fix the wall thickness, detect non-manifold issues and fixes them and of course slice the object for your 3D printer.
The company also launched Gameprint. Gameprint is a platform were you can use the MakePrintable engine to create 3D printable models straight from your favourite computer game.
Now the company announced that it secured an investment of 4.3$ millions. With the investments Mixed Dimensions will further develop their software.
