3DQue integrates auto-eject function for Bambu Lab 3D printers

3D printing specialist 3DQue has added a practical new function for Bambu Lab 3D printers to its powerful print farm management solution “Auto Farm 3D”. The auto-eject function automates the removal of finished prints and is designed to significantly increase productivity in print farms.

Previously, with Bambu Lab printers such as the X1C, P1P and P1S, objects had to be manually detached from the heated printing plate and removed from the build chamber once a print process was complete. This is an enormous effort, especially when operating many printers at the same time.

3DQue’s new automation eliminates this problem. Once a print is complete and the build plate has cooled down, the extruder moves to a defined position behind the print object. From there, it pushes against the part with a short jolt so that it slides off the plate onto a collection container.

According to the developers, the auto-eject mechanism is extremely reliable and economical. It saves the immense amount of work involved in manually removing the prints and enables a largely automated throughput in production farms.

The function was already available for some other 3D printer models. With the integration of the popular Bambu Lab devices, it is likely to become highly interesting for many users.
