Garuda3D, a 3D printer manufacturer based in Hyderabad, India, has announced the launch of its new, in-house developed DP500 high-speed industrial 3D printer.
What makes the printer special, according to the manufacturer, is its Independent Dual Extruder (IDEX) system. The DP500 name results from the variety of tasks the printer can handle, including dual-head 3D printing, two-color 3D printing, two-material 3D printing, duplicate 3D printing and direct prototyping.
The 3D printer has a print volume of 500 x 500 x 500 mm and a print speed of up to 150 mm/s. It also features 25-point automatic bed leveling and a fast AC silicone heating bed. The printer also includes an integrated filament drying system.
The new printer features an Independent Dual Extruder system that enables simultaneous printing with multiple materials or colors. This increases design freedom, shortens production times and increases efficiency. The printer is designed for industrial applications. The machine enables 3D printing with carbon fiber-reinforced filaments for strong, lightweight components. The 3D printer also features a high-flow nozzle and extruder for precise material deposition, as well as ball screws and guide rails for stability and accuracy.
