ValCUN introduces the Minerva 3D Printer at Formnext 2023

Metal 3D printer manufacturer ValCUN will showcase its Minerva 3D Printer and Minerva Print Head at Formnext 2023, the world’s leading AM trade show.

ValCUN’s latest development, the Minerva Printer, represents a significant advance in the field of metal 3D printing. It promises not only increased sustainability, but also more cost-effective metal 3D printing. At the heart of this printer is the company’s proprietary Molten Metal Deposition (MMD) technology.

With the Minerva Printhead, ValCUN offers users* more flexibility. This printhead can be used on robotic arms, gantry systems and in production lines, and seamlessly adapts to other manufacturing technologies.

Molten Metal Deposition (MMD) technology enables direct metal deposition in a single step. It uses commercially available metal wires as feedstock and offers user-friendly operation. Currently, the Minerva system focuses on aluminum, especially high-strength aluminum alloys such as the 6XXX and 7XXX series. In addition, MMD scores with high energy efficiency and waste reduction.

Jonas Galle, Co-Founder and CEO of ValCUN, is excited about the event, “The Minerva Printer, the Minerva Print Head and our beautiful printed parts are the highlight of our innovation journey. We are committed to delivering cost-effective, deployable, environmentally friendly metal printing solutions and we invite Formnext 2023 attendees to visit our booth, witness these disruptive innovations firsthand and explore their transformative potential for various industries.”

ValCUN will be present at Formnext 2023 in hall 12.0, booth E32. The company cordially invites all visitors and experts to personally convince themselves of the possibilities and potential of the new technology.
