WEBER additive presents its 3D printers from the DXR series

WEBER additive presents its DXR series at Formnext. This technology combines high-quality WEBER extruders from the AE series with a precise 6-axis industrial robot.

The DXR series systems use the industrial robot to move the extruder across the build platform, guided by detailed path planning. This process enables the creation of complex geometries with a high degree of precision. The DXR series is characterized by a modular design that includes a wide range of optional features. These include a special space for additional components, an enclosed housing to stabilize the printing process, adaptable printing tables, build space monitoring by cameras and a print server that facilitates the integration of the AiSync path planning software.

The AE series for direct extrusion is particularly lightweight and optimized for variable output. The system is also supported by powerful servo motors and a compact material feed. These open systems are designed to process a variety of thermoplastic materials, making the DXR series suitable for almost any application, from art to industrial prototypes to large-format components.

WEBER additive, part of Hans Weber Maschinenfabrik GmbH, benefits from more than 60 years of experience in the construction of plastic extruders. This know-how enables the development and production of additive manufacturing systems. WEBER’s team of experts is ready to customize the DXR system to the specific needs of each customer.

Interested parties can visit WEBER additive at Formnext and gain an insight into the possibilities that the DXR series offers for their production.
