Indian Manufacturer Make3D presents DLP 3D Printer EKA XL

Indian 3D printer manufacturer Make3D has unveiled EKA XL, a DLP 3D printer for the jewelry industry.

A special feature of the Eka XL is the innovative heated glass tray technology. This heats the glass tray, which helps maintain the proper thickness and viscosity of the resin.

It supports both castable resins – ideal for jewelry and dental models that will later be converted to metal – and non-pourable resins for a variety of applications, from prototypes to sculptures and technical parts. It is easy to switch between resin types.

With an MS housing, the Eka XL offers a build volume of 125x70x140 mm and a layer resolution of 48 microns in the X and Y directions and 20-70 microns in the Z direction. With a lifetime of over 20,000 hours, the printer’s UV source draws its data from STL and DPF file formats. Additionally, the Eka XL comes with a CNC anodized printhead.

Included with the Eka XL are: a UV curing oven, resin tray, 500 grams of non-pourable resin, on-site training and insured shipping. In addition, there is licensed software for operation and cutting with lifetime validity and updates.
