3D Scanned Supermodel Rises More Than Seven Meters High

3D scanning is often used to make small action figures of  people like you and me or sometimes public figures like sport stars. This case is different.

A few photographers evolve to make videos but photographer Nick Knight has chosen a different way. He stepped into the game of 3D scanning and 3D sculptures. He calls his art photographic sculptures.

His latest work of photographic sculptures was a sculpture of the famous supermodel Naomi Campbell. This project is super-sized in many ways. First the statue is 25 feet tall. One huge Naomi Campbell you would think. But you have to think bigger – Nick Knight and his team made three of them. These where showcased as the centrepiece of the exhibition SHOWstudio: Fashion Revolution at Somerset House in London.
