Fusion3 Launches F400 3D Printer

North Carolina-based 3D printer manufacturer Fusion3 has unveiled the F400 3D printer, an improved version of their F306 model, at the Inside 3D Printing New York this week.

The professional-grade printer with an enclosed print area of 14.2”×14.4”×12.6” (360 x 365 x 320 mm) is equipped with an E3D all-metal hot end and can process a wide ragen of materials including ABS, PLA, Nylon, HIPS, PVA, Polycarbonate and PETG among others. Objects can be printed with a layer hight of 50 to 300 microns at a speed of up to 250 mm per second.

Designed for ease of use and manageability, the F400 features a heated build plate with automatic build plate levelling, a 4.7″ colour touch screen and WIFI. fusion3_3d_printer_f400_Its modular components and the convenient access to the interior allows for easy maintenance and servicing. The printer comes with license of the Simplify3D Creator software for optimising your 3D models and slicing.

The new printer is avilalbe in two different models: The F400-S features an E3Dv6 hotend with a 0.4 mm steel hardened nozzle, while the F400-HFR allows for faster production with its E3D Volcano hotend and larger 0.8 mm nozzle.

The F400-S is available for $ 4,499 while the F400-HFR comes with a price tag of $ 4,699.
