KISSlicer, the one-man-project by Jonathan Dummer, becomes more and more popular with hobby users.
As its name implies, with “Keep it simple Slicer” you can easily and quickly convert your own 3D model into *.gcode files. The only requirement is to have your 3D model ready as a *.STL file.
The free version of the software is ideale for hobby designer using a 3D printer with only one print head. However, if you are up to more complex constructions with multiple print heads and objects, you can buy the pro version of KISSlicer for $42 (around €31).
